Although projects vary, we strive to return papers to authors in five business days or less. With a bit of advance warning and mutual negotiation, we will work to make sure our schedule meets the deadlines looming on your calendar. Bottom line--what will this cost? Every project is individually negotiated but in general, Maine Desk charges $50 per hour for proofreading and copyediting services. Prior to beginning a project, we will discuss the scope of work and estimated time for completion. Major variations in terms of time and effort will be discussed with the author. For ultra-rush jobs or extra-special projects,we charge $100 per hour...but never without first discussing it with you.
